Theseus & the Minotaur Workshops

Whilst Workshops share a common structure, and provide some necessary
repetition and reworking of key scenes and 'play' sequences, each also
focuses on building specific skills and addressing important issues.

• Workshop 1: Self-identification; 'group' building; exploring the space;establishing
  boundaries; movement/stillness; embodiment; establishing the key theme of 'conflict.'
  
• Workshop 2:Examining difficult feelings -'anger' and 'fear';mime; movement and stillness;
  characterisation;making a group 'sculpt.'
  
• Workshop 3:Body Awareness; paired discussion; sharing ideas; 'hot seating';'trust'
  exercises; working 'blind.'
  
• Workshop 4:Friendship/disagreement; 'Chinese whispers'; saying 'no'; making choices;
  accepting consequences.
  
• Workshop 5:Advance/retreat; 'mirroring' activity/encouraging 'empathy'; workin with
  feelings/emotions; improvisation and 'scripting.'
  
• Workshop 6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14:Information supplied upon request
  Workshop 15:Working with contrasting feelings: 'pride' and 'shame'; working with 'colour'
  symbolism; dance, working with the senses - 'taste';saying 'goodbye';abandonment;
  deception; coping with tragedy; taking responsibility; learning from past mistakes;
  making reparation.
